Delving Deeper: Understanding diverse approaches while exploring psychotherapy. In this book Jo explores the machinations of working with a psychotherapist. While the book is aimed at the general public (as opposed to the profession) and clarifies the ‘users’ experience of being in psychotherapy, it also draws out the difference a potential client may experience working with a counsellor, psychiatrist or psychologists. The book is an attempt to educate the public about the profession in the hope that they might become better informed when seeking treatment.
